Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Heavano uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and dashboard, and how you can control them.

Last updated · May 19, 2026Effective · May 19, 2026
We use only the cookies needed to run the Services, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage. We never use cookies to sell your personal data. Non-essential cookies are set only with your consent. For the bigger picture, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Overview

This Cookie Policy describes how Heavano Ltd (“Heavano,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit heavano.com or use the Heavano dashboard. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.

By continuing to use our website with non-essential cookies enabled, or by accepting them through our cookie banner, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy. You can change your choice at any time — see Section 5.

2. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixels — collectively referred to as “cookies” in this policy.

  • Session cookies expire when you close your browser. They keep you signed in and maintain your session state.
  • Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. They remember preferences like your theme and language across visits.
  • First-party cookies are set by Heavano. Third-party cookies are set by services we use, only where permitted.

3. Cookies We Use

We group the cookies we use into four categories:

Strictly necessary
Authentication session tokens, CSRF protection, and rate-limit state. Required for the site and dashboard to function — these cannot be disabled.
Functional
User preferences such as theme (light/dark), language, and recent selections. Persistent but privacy-preserving.
Analytics
Aggregate page views, feature usage, and error rates via privacy-first first-party analytics. No cross-site tracking; IP addresses are anonymized.
Marketing (opt-in)
Used only on marketing pages and only with your consent via the cookie banner. Off by default.
Declining non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to use the Heavano platform. Strictly necessary cookies contain no marketing identifiers.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies may be set by trusted third parties that help us deliver and measure the Services. These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and our agreements with them. Categories include:

  • Analytics providers — to understand aggregate, de-identified usage of our website.
  • Security & fraud prevention — to protect against abuse, bots, and unauthorized access.
  • Payment processing — our PCI-compliant processor may set cookies during checkout flows.

We do not permit third parties to use cookies on our site for cross-context behavioral advertising without your consent.

5. Managing Your Cookies

Cookie banner & preferences

On your first visit to heavano.com you can accept or decline non-essential cookies through our cookie banner. You can revisit and change your choices at any time from the cookie preferences link in the website footer or within your account settings.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site or dashboard from working. Refer to your browser’s help pages for instructions (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge each provide cookie controls).

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry-wide standard for how to interpret DNT, we currently respond to cookie choices made through our banner and your browser settings rather than DNT headers. We will update this policy if a recognized standard is adopted.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for legal and regulatory reasons. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the cookie banner or a notice on our website.
